Ben qualified in 2001 and is the founding director of Pet Practice. He enjoys all aspects of companion animal veterinary medicine but as Pet Practice has grown now has a management focused role. You will always find him very approachable so please do not hesitate to contact him if needed. When allowed out of the office he can be found on the water or spending time with his family.
Joanna graduated from Warsaw University in 2005 and joined Pet Practice in January 2013. Her interests are with small animal surgery, especially orthopaedics. She has both a cat and dog and when not at work loves spending time with her family, sailing and travelling.
Hannah started work experience with us in 2014 and soon became an animal nursing assistant within the Pet Practice team. Hannah is now in her final year of the Veterinary Nursing diploma course at Lynwood School of Veterinary Nursing. Hannah has a crazy boxer called Benson who loves his cuddles despite his size.
Jazmin moved from Canada in 2006. She has undertaken a variety of roles in a wide range of practices from small animal first opinion, mixed animal hospitals, out of hours emergency services as well as referral. She qualified in 2013 and shortly after joined the Pet Practice family. Jazmin is our practice manager. Aside from her clinical interests she increasingly enjoys her leadership and management roles.
Lisa White qualified in London eventually working as head nurse for several years. She moved down to the sunny south coast in 2012 and joined The Pet Practice in February 2016, which she loves! Lisa enjoys nurse clinics, especially canine behavior which she is looking to achieve a certificate in shortly. Her household comprises of a husband, three children, two cats and her rescue dog Mason.
Michelle moved to Dorset from Surrey in 2017. She qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2010 and enjoys how varied a day as a veterinary nurse can be. She is clinical coach to our student nurses in Bournemouth and enjoys all aspects of teaching. Michelle is a typical veterinary nurse rescuing a stray cat that was brought into our practice in 2018.
Sarah has been veterinary nursing in Dorset for over twenty years and has a wealth of experience having worked in first opinion, referral and emergency practices. She now works for us part time splitting her efforts between the practice and home. Ben has been known to take more looking after than their daughter Tia...
Vicky qualified in 2006, completing a BSc(hons) degree. She gained her experience across several small and large animal practices in the south west before joining Pet Practice in 2011. Her main veterinary interests are in surgical nursing. Vicky now works for us part time after becoming a busy mum of two.
Carrie has been working at Pet Practice since 2010. She enjoys welcoming clients & their pets into the practice and answering any questions they may have. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her daughter, socialising with her friends, and dancing.
Laura has been with us at Pet Practice since 2012. She attended Bournemouth & Poole college studying Animal Care & Management and has also gained valuable work experience at various animal sanctuaries. She will always be happy to help with any questions you may have at reception. She enjoys taking care of her family pets as well as spending time with her family and friends.
Stacey joined the Pet Practice team in 2018 coming from a research background with a keen love of animals. In her spare time, she enjoys playing field hockey, keeping fit and dog sitting. This allows her to enjoy all the great benefits of caring for dogs using her new-found knowledge of veterinary practice.
